How I came about choosing this elective was because I found the name so intriguing. Especially the mysticism part.

I wish that more students would take this class. It really helped me expand my understanding of people, cultures, and religions. I was taught about regional religions, mass practiced religions, and New Age religions.

This class required me to drop my own understanding of the world, people, and religion at the door. I had to prepare to be completely filled with new knowledge.

This class was truly an eye-opener. By the end of it, came out a better person. I had a new understanding of my friends and people of different backgrounds. I have grown to be a person who loves learning about religion and is genuinely curious as  towards why (insert religion) matters to my whomever I am speaking with.

It is important to be respectful of people's difference, especially religious. Religion is unique to the individual and a sacred practice. After this class, I have zero excuse to be ignorant to all that I have learned and surrounds me. That is why I choose to hear people out and never judge them because they are different than me.
